the Edge browser in the Edge Web Store. The following sections contain Privacy Policies
for each extension published.
Your privacy is important to us. We are thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to provide and the personal information that we collect about you through the operation of our services. If an Info Technology Supply Ltd extension collects personal data, it is collected on behalf of the organisation that is providing our services to you (the licensee of our software). Info Technology Supply Ltd never see any personal data and our business model does not involve the use of personal data. More information on each extension is detailed below.
The Onelog extension handles user data only when
used in conjunction with the Onelog native client. Without the Onelog native
client the extension has no function and does not handle any user data. The
extension does not send data to remote locations.
This extension is intended for all users of a
licensed Onelog system who use the Edge browser to connect to web based
research material.
On a desktop PC Onelog consists of two parts, the
Microsoft Edge extension and the Onelog native client, the Onelog client
installer can be obtained by a Onelog licensee from their local support
contact.
The Onelog extension can handle personal data that a
user enters when on tracked websites. The websites that are tracked will differ
depending on the licensee configuration. The extension will show a toolbar
overlaid on the website interface to indicate that it is active, if the toolbar
is not present, no information is being collected. Personal information
collected will vary depending on the licensee configuration for a website but
may include the collection of logon information, searches performed on the
website, pages visited on the website, documents viewed on the website, user
location & costs incurred on the website.
The Onelog extension sends any collected user data
to the Onelog native client on the same computer (this would have been
installed using the client installer). The Onelog native client has access to
the Licensees Onelog server and sends the user information to that server for
storage, this data is sent encrypted (AES) and is stored encrypted (AES).
Storage of any collected personal info is handled
by the organisation that is providing Onelog services to you. You should
contact the organisation to ask how long data is stored for and to enquire what
personal information is stored relating to you. Personal data is stored
encrypted (AES) and is transferred to the storage location encrypted (AES).
The organisation that provides Onelog services to
you may use collected personal information to assess the use of online research
services and to provide a password completion service to you. Info Technology
Supply Ltd have no access to this data.
